Italian car maker, Alfa Romeo has released its new 159 that is fitted with a whole new look as well as a 1750cc turbocharged petrol engine. This car performs excellently going up to 200 horsepowers between 4,750 and 5,500 rpm with 320 Nm of torque at 1,400 rpm. The engine is developed by Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FTP) which comes standard with a 6 speed gearbox that consists of direct fuel injection, the turbocharger, a scavenging control system with 2 variable valve timing units.
If you are looking at any other which are around the 2500 and 3000 cc bracket, this car performs slight better. On top of that, fuel consumption is more economical with the 159. The car top speeds at 235km/h and takes about 7.7 seconds from zero to hundred. For those who are looking for speed and adrenaline with a gush of Italian flair, the Alfa Romeo 159 1750 TBi is your only option. Period.
