German car maker BMW released the pricing for their new 1-Series Convertible model for the US market during the Detroit Unveiling. Displayed in the showrooms come March and ready for the summer, the 128i is priced at USD33,875 while USD39,875 is priced for the 135i model. The four-seater convertible range goes in line with the 2002 model and concept.
The 128i is coupled with the Valvetronic management for better performence in terms of efficiency and very importantly responsiveness. All these and integrating the 3.0 six cylinder engine within a direct injection, twin turbo-charged and intercooler systems.
Both the 1 series convertible and the 1 series coupe maintains its traditional BMW 2002 sport sedan. The rear drive chassis give the driver a balanced and spectacular driving experience.
Running at 230 horsepowers, its BMW EfficientDynamics is as much as the experience goes for the 128i Convertible meanwhile the 135i convertible is a twin-turbocharged 3.0 liter six cylinder engine that boosts 300 horsepowers and a 300 lb-ft of torque. Test drives result shows that 22 seconds will allow the driver to experience a 25 miles per hour comfortable drive to an adrenaline centric trip.
