Audi Launches Facelift A3 |

This summer sees the new Audi A3 going for sale. The new facelift version will be one of the new releases long awaited by fans. The 2009 model will seek to raise the profile that is of the Audi A3’s sporty impression. The new model comes with the new technologically advanced S Tronic 7 Speed Dual Clutch Transmission and the Magnetic Ride System. The 3 door version is longer while the A4 Sportsback version remains pretty much the same.
In terms of design, it has some similarities with the Q5 SUV launched recently where the headlamps are the same that comes with the wing curves. Interiorly, its aluminum fittings and the almost totally re-designed switch buttons and control levers are a sight to behold. The instrument cluster comes with black dials with red coloured needles and the shift indicator allow the network to identify which gear is recommended. The boot space have also been expanded to 1080 liters for the A3 standard while the Sportback comes with 1100 liters.
Performance wise, apart from the top version S3 that comes with the 265 hp 2.0 TFSI engine, it has a few variations of engines to choose from. The entry level comes with the 1.6 liter capable of 102 horsepowers, the 1.4 TFSI comes with 125 horsepowers, a more powerful version of 1.8TFSI boosting about 160 horsepowers while the 2.0 TFSI goes up to 200 horses. The 3.2 quattro six cylinder goes up to 250 horseppwers while the 1.9 TDI goes with 105 horsepower. The 2.0 TDI comes either with the 140 horsepowers or with 170 horsepowers.
The two entry level A3 comes with the manual 5-speed transmission while all the others comes standard witht eh 6 speed manual. The 3.2 Quattro comes fully automatic and the Semi-Automatic S Tronic Dual Clutch Transmission
