Problem of White smoke in my vehicle 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi all sifus,

My ride is gsr turbo and it's stock standard. Recently it is puffing
thick white smoke when i step on gas paddle after stopping for awhile.
It's not during cool start but it occurs everytime. However it has no
white smoke whenever hard acceleration during overtaking or high speed
cruising (at least when i look at rear mirror there's none).
I've gone through some of the previous posting, found that it's something
to do with the valve wearing or turbine problem. From all your
experience, any clues whether it's turbine replace/service or top
overhaul is needed? Anyone can share share idea abit? Need to get it fix
as soon as possible. It's causing air pollution.

Best regards

Could be valve guide worn. You are getting it only after idling for a
while. Happen to my NA ride before.

rdgs,

normally turbo car with white smoke ...is the sign of turbo oil leak. it
can be the oil pipe bocor or connection looses or O ring seal leak or
propeller shaft bengkok n leak.... this is quite normal for aged turbo
wear and tear..just ask your WS to remove the turbo and send it to
turbo tong for service... www.tongturbo.com
