According to the distributor of Honda cars in the country, Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd, there will soon be a new MPV coming along our shores here to add to its current models. Currently, Honda Malaysia is selling the City, Civic, Accord, Stream, CRV and Odyssey models respectively and soon. As anticipated, the new so-called 8 seater Honda Freed will be introduced.
Unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, Porsche will show case its latest 918 Spyder concept car where they will take hybrid cars a step further than it currently is. This would be quite a flagship model for Porsche who have long been known for their supercars and taking eco-friendliness into the equation would surely make its competitors sit up and take notice. This is where they have put in a V8, 500 horses engine and paired it with a pair of electric motors which will get you an additional 218 horses. That means, on paper, it would get you from zero to hundred in 3.2 seconds and top speeding at 198m/h.
The rising price of petrol has prompted many car buyers to consider thinking about moving across to the hybrid segments and players like Toyota has been at the forefront since their ever so popular Prius hit the roads.
