Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the 2010 Renault Wind has what it takes to be a new modern and futuristic car. To begin with, it is modeled after Renault’s own Twingo but it comes with a twist where this really is a concept car in every sense. The Wind first came about to be known in 2004 when it was unveiled as a rear wheel drive concept convertible. Set then to stand against the competition that is of the Nissan Micra CC and the Ford StreeKA, this would be Renault’s new 2 seater that comes with a rotating roof panel.
Local distributor for Nissan cars, Edaran Tan Chong Motro Sdn Bhd or ETCM has announced that all the models that they are carrying and sold in Malaysia are not affected by the recall of Nissan cars in the United States. This came in light after it was announced by Nissan Motor Co. Ltd Japan confirmed that unlike in the United States, the fuel-gauge component issue in the Nissan Frontier will not affect those sold in Malaysia.
The world awaits as the Formula 1 circus starts its new season this coming weekend and for Malaysians around the world, it is quite an anticipation as this is the year where we are entering the competition not just as a sponsor but as a full-fledge racing team. In the past, Malaysia’s representation in the Formula has just been as sponsors especially with Petronas being actively involved and Air Asia as well. Magnum too was involved but that was an agreement made so that Alex Yoong would be allowed to take on the wheels behind the then Minardi F1 team.
